Two curators has exchanged the letters as the process of curating loss:non:loss. This slow, extended and delayed discussion brought our journey of sharing knowledge and memories between loss and non-loss. Inscribed thoughts will last on the letter paper for a longer time than spoken words.  During the waiting time to receive the mail, some words that should have been delivered disappeared somewhere.  



Soo-Min Shim, an art writer and art historian based in stolen Ngunnawal and Ngambri land, sent us a letter as a review on loss:non:loss.
Soo-Min Shim has been Arianne and Soomin’s supportive mentor during their academic journey in Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership in UNSW .
She received her Bachelor of Art History and Theory (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney and is currently undertaking a PhD in Art History and Theory at the Australian National University.

She has written for several Australian and international publications including Art & The Public Sphere, ArtAsiaPacific, The Artling, Art + Australia, Art Almanac, Artist Profile, Ocula Magazine, Runway Conversations, un Extended, Running Dog and more.
